Immerse yourself in this interactive training to learn all the “FUN” dementals that make up the building blocks of HR and drive successful teams to have a thriving workplace. Understanding these regulations is not only crucial for keeping your organization legally compliant, but it also fosters a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees. Each lesson in Rise will use a mix of text, images, and interactive blocks (e.g., accordion, knowledge check, scenario) to engage learners. The course will include sections like lessons, interactive scenarios, and knowledge checks to facilitate learning and retention.

As part of the modern-day workplace, Trüpp is committed to providing an online learning experience that is contemporary, engaging, and practical. This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and includes reading content, audio, video, and interactive exercises. Knowledge is assessed with a 10-question final exam at the end of the course, which requires a passing score of 80%.

Objectives

After completing this course, learners should be able to:

  • Obtain the knowledge of proper verification: Understand the importance of properly completing and verifying the I-9 to ensure eligibility for employment in the U.S.
  • Exempt? Non-exempt? Is it not the same thing? Learn how to accurately complete and manage W-4 forms and other tax-related documents to ensure proper tax withholding for employees.
  • Post-hire Notices: Gain insight into the various post-hire notices that must be provided to employees.
  • Laws and Policies: Familiarize yourself with anti-discrimination and harassment policies to ensure a workplace free from bias and misconduct while still being in compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Handbook Acknowledgement and importance: Recognize the significance of the employee handbook as a key document outlining company policies, procedures, and expectations.
